This morning the ESS staff in Lund moved into the new ESS headquarter at Medicon Village in Lund. Situated closer to the future construction site with more office space and other more suitable facilities , this is yet another milestone in the planning and construction of the next generation neutron source.

The organisation has literally grown out of the old building. When moving in at St Algatan four years ago, two people was on the pay roll. Now, more than 100 staff is movin out

- It is with mixed feelings we move to the new offices, says Colin Carlile, Director General. The old Headquarter was in the middle of Lunds beautiful historical city centre.

The new Headquarter will give ESS the possibility to gather its staff in Lund under one roof, with enough space for the engineers and scientists being recruited the coming years.

The new address is Tunavägen 24 in Lund. A map and travel instructions will soon be published here. The public exhibition will stay at St Algatan yet some time.
